Small Business Cybersecurity Essentials

Online Workshop

This workshop is limited to 20 participants only!

Cyber-attacks are on the rise, and small businesses are primary targets. Many small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are unsure where to begin when improving their cybersecurity. With dangerous attacks such as phishing and ransomware on the rise, many are looking for affordable methods to improve their likely substandard cybersecurity postures. Furthermore, many insurance companies require SMBs to demonstrate cybersecurity due diligence before issuing cyber or even general liability insurance policies.

In this five-week entry-level workshop, you will learn everything you need to know to start building a ROBUST and COST-EFFECTIVE cybersecurity program that will significantly LOWER your CYBERSECURITY RISK.

"Understanding what cybersecurity is and how to safeguard my company and my clients was not even on my list of what a business owner should be responsible for. These workshops took Admin-On-Call, LLC, to another level in business development. Nathan did an awesome job introducing the technical jargon on a level that was easier to understand."

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend this workshop?

This entry-level program requires no prior experience or knowledge of cybersecurity. We created this program for small business owners who want to protect their investment from senseless cyberattacks that can destroy what took years of hard work, sleepless nights, and penny-pinching to build. In sum, we created this program for you.

Why should I register for this workshop?

If you or your employees use a computer for any purpose--e.g., e-commerce, bookkeeping, order fulfillment, customer service, etc.--your business is at risk of a cyberattack. It is not a question of IF but rather WHEN. The consequences of a cyberattack can be devastating. Hence, it's vital that you proactively tackle your business' cyber vulnerabilities by implementing a robust cybersecurity program in your company.

What will I learn in this workshop?

After completing this Cybersecurity Essentials for Small Businesses workshop, you will:

  • Understand how a defense-in-depth-based cybersecurity program can minimize the impact of the most prevalent cybersecurity threats.
  • Understand some of the most important attacks, threats, and vulnerabilities facing small businesses today.
  • Understand different policies, procedures, and technologies and their use in creating a robust cybersecurity program.
  • Understand how user training is used to thwart attacks and what training resources are available.
  • Begin building a system inventory baseline to categorize all company assets protecting critical information.

What is the workshop schedule?

This workshop will run for five (5) weeks, from September 23rd to October 28th.

Every Monday, we'll release new training, which includes a video and a homework assignment. You will have plenty of time to complete the training before our weekly Return & Report Call (i.e., Q&A meeting) scheduled on Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EDT. We'll record all Return & Report Calls and make them available on-demand in the virtual classroom. So, if you miss one or more of these meetings, you can get caught up on your own later.
