In the world of government contracting, getting the contract award is only the beginning. Performance raises a new host of challenges, all governed by a complex web of rules and regulations. To thrive in this industry, contractors must familiarize themselves with these regulations; they must learn how to resolve performance disputes and successfully seek compensation for unanticipated costs and delays.
In this webinar, experienced government contract attorney Maria Panichelli will provide a roadmap to deal with these issues. Maria will discuss REAs, Claims, the differences between them, and when it is appropriate to use each. Attendees will learn about some of the most common bases for claims, as well as some common government defenses. In addition, Maria will discuss subcontractor pass-through claims, and the CDA claims appeal litigation process before COFC and the Boards of Contract Appeal.
Target Audience: Government contractors of any level; any government contractor anticipating possible REAs or Claims arising out of performance; any government contractor who has incurred unanticipated costs or delays
