Business size is an important topic in federal contracting: after all, to be eligible to participate as a small business, your business must first be, well, small. In this presentation, government contracts attorney Matthew Schoonover will discuss how the SBA calculates business size under both a receipts-based and employee-based size standard. He’ll also discuss affiliation—a crucial topic for small businesses that, if found, can turn your small business large!

After attending this webinar, you will learn:

  1. How the SBA calculates size under a receipts-based and employee-based NAICS code;
  2. How the NAICS code impacts the size requirements;
  3. The common ways the SBA finds an affiliation between companies; and
  4. How to guard yourself against affiliation.

Target Audience: Small business owners pursuing federal market opportunities.
