In this informative webinar, federal government contracts attorneys Nicole Pottroff and Shane McCall of Koprince McCall Pottroff LLC will break down the most important legal developments impacting federal contractors in 2025. They will cover revolutionary (and not-so-revolutionary) FAR changes, significant updates to small business regulations, new SBA certification processes, recent decisions affecting federal contractors, and more.

A major focus will be the FAR overhaul. The presenters will explain the executive order initiating the effort and its goal to “remove most non-statutory rules.” They will walk through the key FAR section updates, the line-out document, and the change summary—highlighting which changes are most relevant to contractors and which requirements remain largely unchanged.

FAR Overhaul Topics:

  • What is staying the same?
  • What is changing?
  • What is the base FAR versus agency supplements?
  • How will agencies apply the new FAR, and when will it become effective?
  • How do agency supplements align with the revised FAR?

Additional Topics:

  • SBA rule updates
  • State of small business contracting
