AMANDA SWANSON GOFF, The Pulse of GovCon LLC
Ms. Amanda Goff joined The Pulse™ in 2022 as the Director of Research and Analysis. Amanda received her Bachelor’s in Linguistics from the University of Kansas (KU) and her Master’s in Public Policy from George Washington University (GWU). In May 2024, she will graduate from Vanderbilt University with a Doctor of Education in Organizational Learning. Ms. Goff is a subject matter expert in learning science and instructional design, leveraging this skillset to improve knowledge retention and organizational learning in government contracting. Previously, she has conducted training covering a wide range of immediately relevant topics, including navigating the federal budget process, conflict of interest legislation, and more. Most recently, the Naval Postgraduate School published her research addressing existing learning gaps that limit the Department of Defense’s ability to effectively use non-traditional contracting authorities to meet pressing national security needs. In addition to her expertise in human capital development, Ms. Goff brings over seven years of experience in project management, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement. She is especially adept at using publicly-available federal spending data to inform policy work and identify key trends impacting the federal contracting industry.
